Are you one of those people who are always on the run and just don’t have the time to give your dog a bit of special treatment, even if it’s just a haircut or bath?

Then a visit to Hot Dogz, Louis Trichardt's newest doggy parlour, is just the place to go.

“Basically, it’s about service,” says owner Lealize Bezuidenhout. She has just finished her training at Pawcasso’s pet grooming academy in Centurion.

“I do all the work myself,” says Lealize, who has a great love of animals.

Lealize is now able to give specific cuts for specific dog breeds, such as terrier cuts. In addition, dog owners can also choose between a winter or summer cut. If a cut is not what the dog needs, then a normal bath and brush treat is also available, as well as tick and flea treatment. Lealize’s services also include the clipping of nails and the cleaning of a dog’s ears.

Hot Dogz is situated just five kilometres out of town at Rondebosch. However, don’t despair if transport is a problem, as Lealize will gladly pick up and drop off dogs at their owners' homes.“Walk-ins are, however, also welcome,” says Lealize.

As an opening special, Lealize is offering 20% discount for the first 30 dog owners who book their dogs. “My prices are very competitive,” says Lealize.
